At Eons News, our goal is to contribute to a more well-informed world, where decisions are made using the best information and the best tools of analysis.   We think those who place themselves in a position of authority and influence over others owe their audiences their very best effort to ensure the accuracy of the ideas they are promoting.  We find such effort disappointingly rare in fundamentalist religious circles, conspiracy theory groups, pseudoscience-promoting organizations and other areas.  We use satire as a tool to draw attention to these topics and provide thought-provoking questions and resources for those interested in exploring them further.
